- Balancing Climate Policies and Economic Development in the Mediterranean Countries (2025)
with Castelli, C., Castellini, M., Gusperti, C., Lupi, V., & Vergalli, S; in Energy Economics
This study extends RICE-99 spatial granularity focusing on Mediterranean countries. The updated calibration to 2015 provides new figures on relevant macroeconomic indicators. The cost of climate change is evaluated in the absence of a green transition. Developed Mediterranean countries must decrease energy usage to meet climate targets. Southern Mediterranean countries will suffer most damages and economic slowdown.
